I love that everything is in walking distance. The locals are very friendly and if you've lived here you will almost always run into somebody you know.
Everything is conveniently close almost everywhere at the beach can be reached by biking. But I see a lot of people walking their dogs. Also there is a wonderful city park and people pick up after their pets. Also there is an annual marathon race that passes through the neighborhood which creates a festive atmosphere ". Other dogs are friendly, night time walks on the beach with the pups are great. Jax beach has lots of pet friendly restaurants ".
Resident 3y ago. My neighnorhood is not crowded at all during the time that I leave or return from work. There is convenient access to JTB, grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping.
It is safe here. There are great restaurants I can walk to and plenty of shopping. Takes about 10 minutes to get anywhere ". Walk to beach and close to lots of stores and dining. I love the area and it seems safe.
I like that people hang out and neighbors walk around and people are social ". Only negative is traffic gets very heavy at times. Very pet friendly, and lots of families nearby. Fire station, sunshine park, elementary school, and hospital within walking distance. Everything is walkable. The neighbors are helpful and we had a great comradarie and developed very close friendships with all. Very safe and secure area with no known break-ins or thefts. Would recommend for anyone interest in living at beach and enjoying life.
