Great food and drinks, with an awesome view on the patio. Beautiful setting by the water watching the sun set. The food was great and loved the lava bowls the fajitas were served in. We knew the menu was limited but were disappointed that on the limited menu some items were not available Overall, great experience and amazing view over the water!

Items we loved were gone from the menu but we found new ones! Enchilada platter was awesome! First time OpenTable user My husband has been wanting to try Mesa 21 and we finally did, taking out of town visitors with us. The food was very good - fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. Jose was our waiter and did a great job! We live in the neighborhood and will definitely be back. We enjoyed our dinner at Mesa 21 very much!

We would recommend it to friends. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando! We recommend it to every friend we have that has never been.

We came here last year for my spouse birthday and we have come back here at least once every months ever since! The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and we have NEVER had to send anything back to the kitchen. Love this place!! It was very nice and comfortable. Noise level was low enough that conversation was easy. I made a reservation for 1pm on Fathers Day it wasn't all that busy yet , with my husband and 4 kids 18, 12, 3, 1. We walked in and it smelled like a dirty towel, but then later realized it was the scented candles.

The Hostess sat us down inside and told us someone will be with us shortly. The Hostess went back to the front and sat down a party of 3. While we talk and wait for someone to come to us, we realized the party that walked in after us already has their drinks alcoholic drinks, that take some time to make.

We realized we have been waiting 15 mins, we called someone over and the guy just looked at us and kept walking, we all got up and left. This is our second time coming here, our first time was on Mothers Day last year and we had a good time, good service and good food.

I don't know if they had a change in management, poor staff or short in staff but I will never go back or refer anyone else to this restaurant. We enjoyed the food and our server was really great. The atmosphere was fun and really nice on the water. The only issue was it seemed dirty. The bathrooms were gross and the floor was sticky everywhere.

Our appetizer was forgotten, our order was incorrect, and the food was mediocre. The manager was nice and attentive though. Had been wanting to visit Mesa for sometime. Rita was our server and took very good care of us. Our group enjoyed the cocktails and chips.

Food was also enjoyed, but the Carnitas was on the "fatty" side and would probably not order that item on the next visit. Sitting on the deck with the view of Lake Ivanhoe was the best part. I got the shrimp taco and have had better for about half the price. Doubt if we will go back. Fabulous food, great ambiance, and excellent service! Beautiful view of a lake as well. We all loved our experience there! So disappointed in this place! We got a reservation hoping to have a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch only to find out they had a "special Mother's Day menu.

Facebook hasn't been updated since November!! We decided to try it since we were already there and really regretting so! Our waitress was horrible, told us she was losing her voice so she barely spoke to us. The margarita was way too strong I know not a complaint for all, but I couldn't even drink it My order was incorrect, my kids weren't even asked what sides they wanted so their orders were incorrect when they just brought out random things for them, my husband was not thrilled with eating breakfast foods at , and the menu was so limited and expensive for what it was.

The "brunch" was supposed to last until 4, and at the server came over and said they are switching to dinner so we couldn't order anything else. Another lady, not sure if she was a manager or not, did apologize for the inconvenience and brought out a slice of key lime something, which I can't eat anyway and my husband and kids did not care for. All in all, it was an awful overpriced experience that left us still hungry and very disappointed.

Tacos are my absolute favorite and I was really looking forward to the taco station and we chose the place for the variety since my family doesn't have the same love of tacos. The only positive I can say is it has a nice peaceful view of the water, but it was raining so we didn't even get to take advantage of that.

Really was hoping for a better experience, but this has been crossed off my list. It took 30 minutes for our drink to come, the bartender was MIA, all the silverware had different knife sizes, and forks that were from the Dollar store, so if you order a steak but have a butter knife, how does if work. My husband order corn on the cob to come as an appetizer, waiter said "will see". Food came super late, steak was poor quality rubber meat, potatoes came with cheese and the corn on the cob never came.

He sent the potatoes back because he asked for butter only, the potatoes came back with NO BUTTER because the manager, which had an excuse for everything, said they don't use butter. We paid and left - simply awful. The staff seemed overall disorganized. There was a general lack of awareness. For example, we were sitting by a wall separating a staff area above the seating area.

Thankfully the hostess agreed to move us when another table opened. Later after asking if we were ready for our check and saying no, we were brought our check anyway. Great outdoor location. Authentic Mexican food.

Service was a bit slow though. We love the setting. The place was almost empty during happy hour. We had a new server who really did her best. Every wine pour from the bar was a different amount of wine, even on the same round.

The fish tacos were the only truly great food that came out. The nachos were sad. Just boring. No spices, again, just boring. Great service with very tasty food. Overlooking an amazing lake that accented the painted sky of the sunset. We loved Mesa21 - when it originally opened everything was very authentic.

Now they have changed their recipes I. The taste is different as well. Too bad, as this was one of our favorites. I was celebrating my birthday with my friends , overall it was good.

Sitting by the water created a beautiful ambiance, great perk there is a dock that you can take pictures it was perfect. We all ordered quesadillas which were really great , along with the beans and corn on the cob. So delish. The margaritas and lemonade were not good , too much acid not enough balance of acid and base. The waiter answered our questions fine. So it was an okay experience definitely will not be going again. Food was horrible, when restaurant first opened food was amazing and fresh prepared now rice taste like it came from a box and refried beans were the consistency of soup you literally needed a spoon to eat them.

Churro dessert was burnt yet still brought to the table. Great spot for appetizers and drinks. Service was great, and the appetizers were very good, but the entrees lack flavor. Went to Mesi 21 for my sisters birthday and the food was great, staff was quick and provided excellent customer service. The best food ever!! They used to have a place in Clermont so we came down to Orlando to their downtown location. We genuinely miss their food!

Blows all other places out of the water! Parking is a problem, although they offer a valet. Viewing the lake from the table is what sets the restaurant apart, but I recommend the lunch hour or a later dinner because of sun glare. I-4 construction has not been kind to the scenery, either.

The staff was friendly, cheerful and welcoming - they did a great job. The wait for our food was longish, but not bad. I suppose I am paying for the vista, but that is not enough especially with I-4 as it is to draw me back for more. Server never came to my table. We had to ask other servers for things or to bring our server to us. This is my third time and and the service has always been the same but the food is always fantastic!!!

Scenery is good, good atmosphere. The location was nice. And the patio had these bright lights that were so bright that gave me a headache. Mesa21 has been on our list to try for awhile and we were highly disappointed. The food was room temperature and bland while our drinks were flat.
